Installation is permitted in solid-fuel-burning masonry fireplaces, UL 127 factory-built fireplaces, listed ventless firebox enclosures, and certified RHP/AFD fireplaces. Please note: this unit is not approved for use in factory-built fireplaces that are not tested or listed for unvented burner systems — always verify your firebox compatibility before installation.
